Default VFN Hoods Any Good?? Help

I'm still new to this thread 2nd day so I still don't know how it really works. Anyway I was thinking of purchasing a vfn stock style ws6 hood but now I'm kind of skeptical. I've read some good things and I herd alot or bad things as well my main concern is fitment issues bein that I'm not to handy when it comes to body work i will have a shop install it for me the only problem is they said if its a bolt on with no problem they'll charge me 450 for paint and install but if the hood needs to be altered and trimmed it would be alot more so does anybody have experience with this? Thanx in advance

The vfn hood I had on my previous car fit perfect. Body lines couldn't have matched any better. Very quality if you ask me.
