Default boost valve springs, how far from coil bind.

In installing my prc eht dual valve springs tomorrow. Using a .600lift xer lobe cam and 20psi boost so I want some good seat pressure. With the shims I have I can either go .105 shims or .120.

Installed height with no shins is 1.845 on some and 1.835 on some. If I go .120 on the ones that are 1.835 that gives me a 1.715 install height and 194lbs on the seat.

1.715 -.600(lift)= 1.115. Coil bind is 1.060 so that leaves me with .055 clearance.

I can go .105 shims and that would give me 186 on the seat and plenty of clearance. And 182lbs on the 1.845 ones.

What do you guys think?

Or I can do .120 on the 1.845s and .105 on the 1.835s.

Honestly those springs have way too much open pressure regardless of where you shim them. I'd call Brian tooley and he will get you setup. On hydraulic roller lifters try to stay around 400 lbs of open pressure or less with something that is around 160-180 on the seat.
