Nitrous Oxide - Opinions on fuel pumps for Spraying

I am looking at running the soon to be released NX DP. I want to spray big shots and I know I will need a fuel pump better than stock. I was looking at the following:
1. Aeromotive1000

2. Walbro 340

3. Vortech T-Rex (sp-?)

I will most likely need to spray up to a 200 shot here and there not too often though, I forecast that normally I will be spraying 150shot. After a lower end buildup, I will run larger than 200, so I only want to do this sh*t once. TIA.

Charlie.

I would go with the Walbro intank. It can easily deliver the fuel you require. Im not a fan of inline pumps. The Aeromotive stuff as far as I know will require some extensive modifications to the tank as well as lines. Go Walbro...I have seen 623 rwhp with my little walbro and was still rich.

The one and only reply that you got came from one of the most knowledgeable people shooting nitrous. I did not do a in tank pump I run an in-line electric pump. Its a Bosch, I placed it after the fuel filter and it is hooked up to a switch under the hood of my car. When I'm at the track I flip the switch and the pump is turned on and assists the intake pump. For that matter the switch turns on the: Electric fuel pump, tac, shift light, nitrous system, heater pad for the nitrous, line locks, I think that's about it. I did that so I know everything is shut off when I leave the track.

In line fuel pump. (http://groups.msn.com/RichardsBruce/fuelpump.msnw)

The person I got this setup from did a 300 HP shot on his ride...If you rember SilverLS1 I got it from him.

I don't think it's a matter of people not helping but more so because the answer can be so lengthy and complicated due to each individuals thoughts and experiences. I am trying to find the same answer and I am just going to rear every other post going back 3 months.

I'm not sure how far our archives g back but we have talked about some very sophisticated systems. Some with there own fuel cell and an in-line pump activated by MSD rpm switches. If they are there they would be about one year old by now.

'00 SS- I have gone through the search/archives and read quite a bit, thats how I narrowed it down to those three pumps. I have read a few threads on seperate systems, and learned a lot from all the guys on here. This forum is the best thing to pass time with, very educational and helpful.

I was wanting more of a plug and play intank fuel pump, but the most used and recommended is the Walbro 340. I seen a sponsor has the Walbro 340m for like $139.00 seems like a lower side average price. How much Fabrication has to be done to use this bad boy? Am waiting to purchase the NXL system and the soon to come new enhanced controller for the new fuel pump-nice way to justify the N2O is to get a pump that will handle it huh....

Thanks to evryone here for all the help.

Charlie.

You might want to shoot him a email and ask a few questions. Years ago a friend of his (from this board) did a in tank, I remember the guy had a lot of photos of the install. Maybe ask John if he remembers who they might still have the web sight up.
