Need Help Using Edit To Lock Converter On Dyno

Default Need Help Using Edit To Lock Converter On Dyno

Can anyone give me a quick rundown on what to change with edit to lock a converter at in 3rd at WOT for a dyno pull?

got to change your down shift speeds to less than 30mph is the trans/shiftspeed/tabs

I don't mean not downshifting to 2nd, I mean keeping the TCC locked when you go WOT. Do I only need to adjust the Performance MPH vs % TPS or do the Normal and Cruise tables need to be adjusted also?

Set the TCC lock to 2 mph higher than the 3rd gear shift point for all TCC tables (exculding those not used.....ie 255 for all of the values). This will lock the TCC once the car shifts to third. Just make sure that you put the auto in nuetral once you get off the gas.

If you set the TC unlock values to something unreachable it will kill the car when the speed comes down. Its like haveing a manual in gear with the clutch out.
