Default Disadvantages to using injector adaptors?

Hi all,

I have some short injectors from my LS3 that are too short to use with my new intake manifold, although apparently I can get some adapters that will make them fit.

My question is, will these adapters have any negative affects on things? It looks like they move the end of the injector further away from the intake port than it would normally be.

Cheers
Benno

The adapters I used went between the top of the injector and the fuel rail. The relationship with the manifold stayed the same.

Same here, this way you are not really changing the spray of the fuel and thus not changing how the engine runs.

I had to use adapters on top of my injectors as well. When I was reasearching this I found guys that are doing bottom adapters as well and not having any problems.

Good luck
