transmission is going out in the 5.0 so its really hard to get it in gear
im sure there will be a rematch soon the GTR is getting some stuff done tomorrow I'm not sure wat though and the only reason for racing the termi was he had never run his car from a dig and wanted to see how launch control worked

... there were at least 8-10 stock GTR's at the 1/2 mile out here recently that went 180-195 ish...
Then there was one guy that had some bling.... yup....-- get this... A 'CHUTE! lol Do they got a HEMI?
He musta been running premium as he went 214.

I went to the Ga 1/2 mile shootout, and Super chevy's AntiVenom 2010 Camaro SS complete with full suspension, RHS LS7 heads, cam, FAST intake manifold, ARH exhaust, CTS-V brakes, and the ZL1's more aerodynamic front-end ran a best trap speed of 135mph in the half-mile, while my car de-tuned on motor ran 133.
It was one of the bucket list items to do, you get to go all out for (in my case) a 1/2 mile, braking was a bear though!!!

My bud's Cadi just could not break 150 in 4 or 5 shots.... 147-149.....
2009 cts-v --- little extra cam, pulley and tune. Still original exhaust.
Gotta love that lsa. 685whp.
Those GTR's are truly amazing with some massaging..... They sound like a jet down at the big end. Gotta have serious coin to hang in that crowd though...
