Default Short story-First kill on new setup(5th gen vs hayabusa)

got my first kill last night on the new setup running correctly. Heres how it went down.

1) run across hayabusa on freeway
2) short pull 70-110. I yank off the hit 3-4 cars(dont think he expected a real race, maybe wrong gear?)
3) he ricer fly-by's me
4) I catch him
5) rerun- I still yank him by 3-4 cars, this time through mid 4th.
6) discuss

ok wisetass, how about telling us what your 5th gen runs in the 1/4? rwhp? you gotta be trapping in the low 140's to even think about beating a poorly ridden 1st gen busa. 2nd gen you better be in the high 140's to pull multiple car lengths on a badly ridden busa in that "short" range.

But instead I get the strong vibe that you are one of those arrogant self centered guys who likes to stir **** and thinks bikes are overrated or some bullshit. .... like a vehicle that STOCK can run mid 9's at around 150mph is something that can be called overrated.

How about you take your heavy *** cage out and race a modded new busa? You know, one of those bikes where the owner dropped $6k into it and it now runs low 8's at 170mph? Or one that has $10k into it and runs 7's?

I'm not gona go on a whiney bitch rant like the guy above but yeah I think it's a little hard to believe. Mainly that amount of distance you say you pulled in such a short race. I guess it's possible though... Your set up better be insane. I'd think weight reduction too.

You ok dude? Who said anything about bikes being overrated or anything about all the other **** your talking about.. I simply posted what happen.

Let me ask you a question... Do you have any idea about LS setups. My sig carries enough info for you to maybe put 2 together if you have any understandings of a non slow NA setup.

Gen 1 busa, stock with a 300 tire kit that slows him down, started in 6th, with a fat rider?

1,000rwhp in a bigass 5th gen isn't enough to pull 3 cars outright on even a gen1 busa...and they are slow compared to the gen2/zx14s.

I'm sure you car is fast as hell for a 5th gen but no way it went down just like you said. Been around both bikes and cars too long to fall for that.

70-110 is a couple short seconds for a hyperbike, no chance in hell of pulling 3-4 cars in that short time on even a poorly ridden busa.

So what HP/weight would my 5th gen need to be? The first run was definitely 3 cars and I chalked it up to him not expecting the run he got. Second run was a little better as im sure the first suprised. I didn't yank him as hard in the second race but was hard to gauge the distance as he was in my passenger side mirror.

No clue if he was a decent rider, but hey I guess we can use that crutch.

No crutch needed, I don't even like busa's and I could care less if even a civic beat one . Just would be EXTREMELY difficult to pull that kind of distance on one in a short 70-110 run. Rider won't have much to do with it, depending on his gearing he likely may not even need to shift...basically downshift to correct gear, tuck in, and pin it.

If you said 70-140 I would have just said "Good kill!" and moved along .

First run was 70-110 , which I honestly just think he wasn't quite expecting the race he got. Second race was 70-125/130

If you guys dont think a ~950 car will keep up with a 1st gen busa, you're on drugs. thats a high 130s bike (for most riders) vs a high 140s car.

And from a roll at speed? Get real folks. Car wins
