Default New cam and nitrous ?s

Should have posted this in here I guess instead of the carb.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TJ2Mz...ature=youtu.be

went from a roll against an ls1 shooting 150 shot with all bolt ons. I'm the camera car.

Now to the questions. I really believe I have too small of a cam for my 408. Just got nitrous, going to shoot a 150 shot, with br7s. What cam lobes are you nitrous guys running? or should I just stick with what I got?

What do you think would be the largest shot I should do with out harming the motor? (wiseco pistons) Forged lunati bottom end.

Thanks for your help.

Without knowing the full specs on the cam I cant tell but from the looks of it the car is pulling hard! A full bolton car with a 150 shot should be in the 500rwhp range and you pulled him pretty good. What kind of RPM are you running? As far as what size shot to run I'd probably start at 150 and work my way up. I don't see there being a problem going 200-250. What Aeromotive pump are you using?

cam is in my sig. EPS 234/246 110+2 601/615 lift. I'm ready to swap cams like yesterday, (if You all think I could get a lot more power out of my car with a 150 shot)

The compression is the only parameter I would worry about on pump gas. If it were mine, I would throw a 125 shot at it first and see what the plugs look like. I would make sure the fuel system is up to it, install the Br7s, pull 5 degrees of timing and let it eat.

LOL!

I have mostly had NOS kits over the years. I had an old CompuCar kit in the 80s that hit like a sledge hammer, but mostly NOS stuff. I am thinking about "pucking" around with Dave though.

It doesn't. We had an intake flowed with and without and saw no difference.
