87 Regal Swap...Can I keep the Air Conditioning?

I've read that the coils interfere with the factory AC box. I definitely want to keep the AC down here in Florida.

Is possible to drop in an LS and still keep factory air? What's involved?

Wost case, you can relocate the coil packs.

I've also read that the AC compressor hits the frame on G-body cars.

1in set back plates... Stock Monte Carlo SS frame mounts and clamshell block mounts and I have no notch in my heater box, and no contact with it.

Mine are fine, no problems at all on my 82 malibu wagon and we used the 09 ac compressor. You'll have to put a little notch in the crossmember which is no big deal.
