Got a chance to buy a new, just head unit, bds 671 blower. for 800. Thinks its a good deal? nothing comes with it other than the blower top portion.

I used to run a 6/71 on a 408 bout 12 or 13 years ago . they work great but you got a lot of other things to buy to make it work right. And if your gonna overdrive the pulleys double key the crank it''ll be a good investment in the long run. I lost two balancers before I did mine.

Yeah I know about what its gonna cost as a whole set up, I just don't know much about the brands, like wiend and bds. and if 800 was a good price for just the blower and nothing more, guy sais its new, I have not seen it yet though.
