It just seems to me like th motor would be worth a big chunk of that. I wasn't sure about some of the other work done to it. It seems like nice rollers like that are in the mid teens.

Thats a good deal, I would not let my Mustang go for anything less that 25k.
To build a motor like that is 20k plus and there is easily 15-20k in Chassis work.
If you want to class race you need to get the right car with the right motor combo. If its a backhalf car you better get ready to spend some money to be competive. The best car to get into is a stock suspension chassis, it fits many classes and if you did decide to get out it will be easier to sell. Tube chassis and backhalf cars are getting harder to get rid of unless your selling to a bracket racer.
