N2O backfire off 2-step
Got a question hopefully someone can answer for me. Just finished installing the LNC-2000 box, along with MSD digital window switch, and NX single nozzle kit. Went to the track to try it out, and had a nitrous backfire first thing outta the gate.
My current setup:
1) System jetted for 100hp
2) LNC-2000 was set for 3500RPM
3) Window switch set 3000-5800RPM
Also have upgraded pump, colder plugs, etc...The nitrous is wired in a way that it only activates when the clutch pedal is released, so as not to be "spraying" when on the 2-step. I am wondering if the short time I was on the 2 step if it could've loaded up with fuel and caused the backfire? Lingenfelter said to adjust the nitrous to activate 300 or so RPM's above 2 step and let the engine clear out some, but eventually I want to leave off 2 step around 55-6000rpm, so in that case, how am I supposed to set the nitrous activation for that?? Thanks in advance!

gwhat car is it one ur ws6. if so u got a wot switch? that will help a lil just dont go wot on the 2step and then try a first gear lockout maybe. im having to do the same thing i got my nitrous coming in at 3600 but my 2 step is 3200 cause i cant go no higher or it will load up. im on a electric thottle switch tho. i got mine set to come on at 3/4 throttle. i havre a 1st gear lockout but i hate to use that cause i like to spray 1st cause i got a long gears .maybe do a wire job that cuts out ground somehow while 2 step is activated

On all my shops nitrous builds we run a relay to turn disable it from spraying while on the 2step/t-brake. easy setup and is just a little bit of wiring. That way you can mat it to the floor and not worry about having to hold it part throttle. If you need any help don't be afraid to pm me i can walk you through it!

We do have it setup on a relay, so that it isn't spraying on the two step. It activates upon release of clutch pedal. It was a backfire through the intake. Friend of mine is wondering if timing could be an issue, but timing was not adjusted on that run. I was under the impression that guys were running similar setups and leaving on the spray straight off the two step, no delay. Maybe the engine bogged at 3500 and couldn't ingest it?? May bump it to 5000 and see if it either works or I get a really big boom haha

Need to launch higher than 3500.
I launched mine at 6200 with a 2 step at half throttle and nitrous activation was full throttle and I would just dump the clutch and go full throttle at the same time and never had any problems.
