Default FS/FT 1999 Trans Am

Year: 1999
Make: Pontiac
Model: Trans Am
Price: $3800
Mileage: 129000
Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing
Location (State): FL
Color: Black
Transmission: Automatic
Drivetrain: Rear Wheel Drive

1999 black Pontiac Trans Am. The car has an iron block 5.3L swap with 85k miles est. on the motor.

129,xxx miles on the body
-automatic (shifts well)
-new water pump
-new alternator
-remanufactured A/C compressor, new orifice tube, dryer and idler pulleys were installed
black paint is faded and most of the clearcoat has peeled(minor dents and dings but no major bodywork needed)

The car runs and drives well and just needs a little TLC. I pulled a vacuum and recharged the A/C when the A/C components were replaced and I can bypass the A/C relay for the system to get nice and cold. The A/C will not activate on its own when you turn the switch. I'm not sure of the history of the wiring harness in the car, but the compressor wiring was bundled in the harness when I bought it (I believe the vehicle that the engine swap came from did not have A/C). I have not been able to track down the electrical problem causing the A/C not to turn on, but mechanically it seems sound. It could very well be something simple that I'm overlooking.

The interior is in good shape and the console lid and dash pad are in good shape. I had planned to finish fixing up this car and give it a new paintjob but we're moving in a few months and I know I'll be too busy to get it finished up.

Please send me an email (BrandonJKulawik at Gmail )if you'd like to take a look at the car. I'm asking $4000 and may be interested in some trades, although I don't have anything particular in mind. Probably not another vehicle though, as we're moving. Sport bike, jetski, car trailer are a few possibilities.

I'll work out a deal with the right person... This car is a good foundation for someone who wants to build it up

Sunday bump. Has the market dried up on these cars? This is a good, driveable car that just needs a little TLC

Price drop to $3800. My ears are open for possible partial trades.
