Intercoolers
I have a CXracing 24x12" core intercooler and was looking into a Bell unit with the same size core (center outlets). For the price (1000+) do you think its that much better than my current cooler? IATs run in the 180s on a not to hot day (75*) by the end of the quarter so I'm looking to bring them down.

they may drop but i dont know if the amount of drop in iat's you get would justify spending that kinda money. there was a thread on here not too long ago, big discussion on intercoolers, might want to search for it. alot of good info in there.

Just add a meth kit and save yourself $700 or so. If you want to change, I would go ahead and go to water/ air intercooler. You can buy a CX Racing water to air intercooler, waterpump and radiator for about $500 total.

I'm looking for 750-800rwhp when alls said and done with my 403/F1a pushing 13 to 15psi. I have a AIS trunk mount meth kit but I figured the intercooler would help. I had two #7 nozzles and the temp only dropped 10* or so. That was with a 50/50 mix BTW.

I have a build thread going on in this section. Go to it and read the last 3 pages or so. Lots of good info on the Bell intercooler I had made. FYI.....go Bell intercooler, vertical style. End of story.
