Default Precision PT 76GTS turbo Lm7?

Hey all, currently I'm turbo shopping for my 2000 Lm7 5.3. Stock bottom end, will have 80# injectors, re gapped rings, ARP hardware, custom grind cam, flipped truck manifolds, ls9 gaskets, truck intake setup and it's all going into my 85 regal. It's going to be a street car, but should see a few track days. Im wanting to make a solid 550+ HP at least.

I just need some help whether or not to try this thing out on the 5.3, I've read a few builds and it's a pretty good turbo on 347, 357, 370 strokers but is limited to about 20psi because of the turbine. Will this be a good choice for the 5.3 being a 325ci?

As far as I know It's a PT 76GTS, T4 flange, 0.96 AR, 4" in 3" out

What can I expect out of this turbo?

it should be easily attainable, it seems like your optimizing for boost (custom boost cam?) should be making great power on a 5.3 even a 4.8, especially if you plan on 20 PSI

My turbo camd lm33 5.3 799s stock with ls6 intake th400 moser 9inch made 715 /668 on 16psi corrected due to elevation with .81ar housing. Its losing power after 5700 hoping due to ar housing being small one. I just swapped the. 96 housing on it hoping to get tune next weekend. Same turbo 7675gts

Havent read much on the .81 but the .96 seems to be a great turbo, few guys cracked 900rwhp when they said it couldn't be done. Suprising.

Whats your cam specs?
