Default Turbo Trans Am N2MB no lift shift test

Here is the vid testing out the no lift shift. This was the first time i ever tried it so thats the reason for the early/slow-ish shift. Definitely makes a difference when racing though, never lost boost. Pay no attention to the speedo, its slow/way off since i changed gears

and a lil 1-2 pull

Its very hard to tell whats going on here. I am putting this on my C5 and was wondering how well it worked. Get some better vids up! And why are you shifting so early?

I thought no lift shifting is something anyone can do? Is there some type of thing you have to buy and install to do this?

This vid was literally the first time I tried it to see if it even worked. I take it all the way to redline normally. But the point is that you leave your foot planted and it cus ignition for a split second to make the shift super easy. The second vid, I shifted normally

You can but he installed an N2MB WOT Box. It cuts ignition when you press in the clutch(and don't lift off the gas) to make WOT shifting smooth and helps you not lose boost. I am actually friends with the guy who makes them, they've been using them on SRT4's, Evo's, etc for years with great luck. It's an awesome product with a good dude behind it.

Nice videos.

I have a Lingenfelter LNC-001 box on my car, which is a launch control, but also doubles for no-lift shifting. My car is N/A, but it definitely helps.

This sounds interesting. I'll have to search for it.

Ryans99ls1... would love to hear more about your experience with the N2MB, or see more video! My car is currently naturally aspirated but want to have a safeguard for no lift shifting to protect the trans as much as possible.
