Default Installing key into crankshaft

So I have an LSA blower that I'm intending on slapping on my 68 Camaro. Engine is an lq4 w ls3 heads. I was planning on using the LSA FEAD. This included buying an LSA balancer, which has a keyway. However, lq4 does not have a crank key.

Will the ATI crank pinning kit work for the stock LSA balancer?
Follow up question:
Is the ATI 8 rib balancer required for 10 lbs of boost? What all needs to be changed to use it from the stock LSA FEAD? Obviously the blower pulley, but what about the idler pulleys, etc?

TIA.

If there is no key, then yes you need to pin it.

Ok but do I use the kit that puts pins in the side of the crank or the front? Will the side pins fit the keyway of the stock balancer? Can I pin the front and the side?

This is what you need, i just use this and it works great. If there is a keyway on the balancer drill the hole 180 from the keyway. If the crank is stock the drill bit in the kit will work, if forged you need to use a carbide bit.

Will just one pin be enough? Should I do 2 90* from the key way? What if I want more boost eventually?

One should be more than adequate. But it does no harm to do two.
