first, yes I read the thread on what color rim looks good on your color car, however im the most indecisive person in the world when it comes to spending big bucks, so, help me out !

im looking at going with the VMR V710 wheels, and 18x9.5" rim size.
I believe these will bolt right on without spacers or anything like that correct?

the color options are:

hyper silver

gun metal

matte black

and heres some shots of my car


as you can see- sunset orange metallic, windows tinted at 20%

cant decide which color will look best.. if anyone thinks theres a completely different rim out there that will look better feel free to share. I don't want to lose too much of the sidewall, im not really into the look of the super low profile tires. and the rims on the car now (stock) are also 9.5" wide correct? I know their 17 in diameter, if anything id like to go a little wider, just for the bad *** effect and extra traction but if I cant its not the end of the world.

heres one more pic of the car that's more of a side on shot for better visualization and in case someone wants to get crazy and do some photoshopping. just know this is a old pic from when I first got the car, windows are tinted now and it has a few more coats of wax on it

Personally, the matte black would look great with the orange. But black wheels seem to be overdone. I do like the others as well. But with a orange car, I'd say matte black. Have you considered like shinier black rims? I'd think those would look great on your car. My opinion of course.

Out of those 3 colors, I say matte. I still think that polished/chrome looks awesome on SOM.

I say go hypersilver or gunmetal, but new idea would be black chrome. The shine of chrome with the contrast you are looking for... Hard to find wheels in that finish for our cars though...

I've considered a black chrome but haven't found ones im completely crazy about.

I wish they came in 10.5 as well, im thinking about getting them as is for now and then maybe on the next set of tires after the ones I will put on when I get them sending them away to get them extended.

as for furious1- that's the thing, I still think that the rims I have now (polished aluminum) are a damn good looking rim, especially with the color of the car
greatwhite- if they were offered in black chrome that's what id probably go with, Id like to see these in person tho so I can really get a feel for what they look like.

id just hate to get matte black and kinda fall into the same pattern everyone else goes with, I want my car to stand out, which I think all these colors will do, but I want it to reallllly look good and stand out but go with the car at the same time where if I do end up going matte black if someone stands back and looks at the car they say "those rims look great and belong on this car" vs "these rims look good, but so do all the other cars around here with black rims"

I like the fact they come with a wider rim but I like the actual design of the VMR's more and the fact the VMR's are about 500 less for a set (going off Some prices on eBay)

I like the hpyer silver. Would look sweet with the orange car.
