Default LS1 Is 300

I'm looking to start a build. I'm buying an 01 Is today and am trying to start laying things out. I def want an LS1 swap but have no idea what rear end would not only fit but support the power. Tranny info or any insight that may help this build for me is greatly appreciated. this is going to be my first build. I'm as green as it gets

I don't have any information for you but it sounds like a sweet build idea.

Even better, look here.

https://ls1tech.com/forums/conversio...ver-build.html

I just finished the same swap and have a full build thread. I used the T56 out of a firebird and the stock IS LSD rear end. I haven't had it together very long but so far no issues with the rear end. I do however have very little traction with the stock 215's.

Give that a read and if you still have questions feel free to PM me.
