Default blow through carb non ic but water meth thinking of going e85

I am getting my single turbo car that is already set up on two tunes for pump gas at 8psi/15* of timing and race gas tune at 18psi/20* of timing.. It has water meth come in around 10psi. I keep thinking about going to e85 just for the safety of not having worry quite so much. Currently has a CSU 750 carb that would be sent back to Kevin to be set up for my combo and e85 if I go that way..
what are your thoughts?

combo is 4.8, 243 heads, 03 ls6 cam, 7681 turbo, water/meth.

I'm doing blow thru e85. Then you won't have to change tunes all the time. Plus up here in WI it's only like $2.50/gal. I plan on spraying some windshield wiper fluid and non ic also

im like 95% sure I want to do it also. My worst issue is the station is 25 miles away but I have 100 gallon tank to use in my truck. Or I buy straight alcohol and mix my own with gas for a known quality which would be even cheaper.

Whichever will get you the best cost to octane ratio I would use. I have to go about the same distance as you to get e85 but in the end it's worth it if you want to make big power and be safe without spending a lot on race gas

this is exactly my thoughts also. I talked to kevin and its a bit more than I figured to do the e85 right with bowls but bowls are only necessary if I plan on making over 800hp.. I might run it on gas for a little while longer than I thought..

look for a used carb that's setup for e85 already with the upgraded bowls. I found one that im picking up for an awesome deal. if you think about it even spending $1500 on a carb you will still be cheaper than an efi setup that will support the same parameters.

I can get a new carb for 1550 so that's my quandary at this point maybe buying another complete new carb and keeping this gas carb for the possibility of longer than 300 mile road trips. or selling this to recuperate the difference. I still believe I will be better off in the long run to go e85. I plan on running up to 20psi on the higher side of tuning down the road. Im not sure this is still needed to be done with the water meth already on the car..
