Default Msd 6010 vs edelbrock

What's the difference between the msd ignition control vs edelbrock?

MSD is programmable and has a ton of other features compared to the junky edelbrock version. You read the FAQ sticky yet?

The Edelbrock is for the guy that wants to put a carb on an LS and drive, just drive. The MSD gives control of the spark to the owner. If just running down the road isn't good enough, buy the MSD.

Yea I read it ordered my msd 6010 lol I had my heads come in today and they have 580 lift springs and my cam is a 580/580 lift 236 242 112 will these springs hold?

What Zone said. Valve trains have a tendency to stretch and bounce around a little. IMO, you need a good .050 before bind. Its just good insurance against valve train parts getting too friendly.

i as well am gauging interest in casrbing my 02 z28 and all i hear and read is MSD setup
