Default 4" exhaust...How will it sound?

Hey all. I just bought Hawks Sinister setup minus their muffler choices. I am going to add a Borla XR1 4" muffler. I will post up pics and sound clips when complete but I want to get opinions prior to getting Borla. I am shooting for deepest sound with lowest back pressure. Thanks.

Whatcha say??? I can't hear ya too good since I used to drive a big block Chevelle with dual 3.5" Flowmaster Delta's dumped before axle...

I'm just wondering about quality of sound with the Sinister setup and a Borla
Anyone run similar setup???

I built a single 4" on my car with a magnaflow race muffler, which is similar to the xr1. It has a very deep sound, no rasp and SCREAMS up top. 4" systems on f body's sound awesome. Just make sure you have a good merge in your y pipe, like a flowmaster.

You have pics? Where did you get the 4 inch pipe?

I bought a used mufflex and hated the flowmaster that came with it so I put in a test pipe. In a way it was somehow louder then my old loudmouth 1 if that's at all possible haha. I drove it like that for a week then got a dynatech split flow and couldn't be happier. There's a few 4in with that muffler on YouTube if you search for it.

FYI if you want a stainless steel version of the Dynatech split flow then look at the QTP AR3 race mufflers it looks exactly like the Dynatech.
