can i drive my car untuned after heads, cam, headers, lid?
I ordered my stage II LS6 heads the other day, and Im ordering a 226/226 .589 lift 112 LSA cam, a set of Pacesetter long tube headers with Y pipe, and a lid in the next couple weeks. I plan to install all of this stuff at the same time and then go get a tune within a couple days after the install, the problem is I live 6 hrs from the place that I am going to have tune my car. will it be ok to drive the car that far untuned? will it even run without a tune? and while Im here, is there anything else that i will need to get with all of those mods? (bigger fuel injectors, 02 sims etc?)

It will run, but it won't run well. You'll probably have to give it gas at a stoplight to keep it running, but if you are careful you will be fine driving it to get the tune.

It won't be too driver friendly untuned. Probably surging idle, running rich and dieing out alot. I would definately get it dynotuned with a wideband ASAP and it will run similar to stock that is until you step on the go pedal.
