Good luck Gdoug ! Im hoping for my redemption trip very soon too. Might try this Saturday. The weather is suppose to cool off a lot and Im putting my car in its first car show on the 26th. Id like to be swapped back over to the street tires on the back by then. 10s or bust for you , 11s or bust for me, LOL!

I just looked up my local track events for this weekend. Import Shootout ! My LS3 is made in Mexico, so I guess I can go get my butt handed to me by a Honda Civic . I bet the track will be crap on prep, but the tech guy will probably be laid back. If I go 11.49 on my first pass, I might get another go!

Funny thing is... Me and SixToes1313 went low 11's....he got talked to and they never said a word to me
He slowed it down after the 1000' mark....well, until he last few passes anyway.

So, IF they say something...play dumb like it never ran that fast before and slow it down a little for the next runs....until you're ready to go home anyway....then let her eat and leave with a smile

I have a 4 point bar now and have the door bars to go in over the winter.

If I go 11.49, IT WILL BE FASTER THAN EVER BEFORE and I will have an honest "its never been that fast before" look on my face, LOL. As far as slowing down at the long end, my foot disconnects from my brain at the track, so I have no control over that. Luckily though, Ive grown out of and survived the brain to foot disconnect I use to have on the street in my much younger days.

GRRRREEEAAASSSSYYYYY!!!!!! Im fighting the same situation. No runs on Saturday and Friday test and tune starts at 7pm and its going down to 36* that night. It will be in the 50s by start time and dropping like a rock from there. This new converter blows my NTO5rs up from a roll on the street, the old converter would hook up good. The track will have to be spot on to hook with my road racing suspension setup, . Sounds like an uphill battle to get my 11s this weekend.
