ARP 340 Fuel Pump
Has anyone used one if the ARP-340 fuel pumps being sold on Ebay and Amazon? Supposedly it's the same as the aeromotive 340 stealth. Are they made by the same company with different labeling or what? They sale for basically half the cost of aeromotive. They clam to have 340lph capability. Just curious.

Yeah I know what your saying. It makes me wonder though. Anyway I have decided to use the aeromotive 340 on a universal in tank hanger from Tanks Inc. with a Mallory 4309 return style regulator with -8 an size as the feed and return. What type fuel line or hose do you all like to run?

With that big of a pump you will need to run 1/2 inch feed and return. I like hardline. Stainless is difficult to work with so most guys go aluminum. Aluminum needs to be braced really well so it doesn't crack. You can buy copper-nickel line in 1/2 inch, it is a dream to work with and lasts forever but very pricey. The other option is braided hose, but get something with a nylon liner so it doesn't stink up the garage.
If you don't want to deal with 1/2 line you can run two 3/8 inch lines. OEM style nylon fuel line is getting super popular for swaps, but it only comes in 3/8.
Why do you want so much pump?

Well I was going with a walbro 255 but the aeromotive seemed to be a better quiter pump. Probably don't need that much pump but who knows where this project will end. What about the socket less or push lock type hose?
