Research...... It's not all that simple, especially when using the Super Vic. What hood do u have???? Which 4150 TB do u want to go with??? Sacrificing your wipers??? N/A or nitrous use comes into highth issues. Cutting up the cowl and hood is a must. Most setups are MAFless and go speed density.......

This is my setup of what I ordered:
Part #
Scorpion 4150 TB $530
28095 Super Vic. $410
3638 Edelbrock fuel rails $110
TC1000U36 Lokar cable(cut to fit) $50
15152 Jegs throttle cable bracket $65
Fel-Pro Q13123 intake gasket $30
RGR501 fuel rail kit from Speed Inc. $110
9749 (2) 45* elbows $40
9849 Spectre carb hat $75
Total= about $1500

I would ditch the MAF and go speed density. I don't think I've ever seen anyone keep the MAF when doing a 4150 TB.

Speed Density tune is where you tune out the MAF, as in, you're car no longer uses it and it can be removed from the vehicle. There are countless threads on that topic. I have a Speed Density tune on my WS6 and it drives the same as it did when I had just a regular tune. One is no better than the other and as long as the tuner is good, you won't even be able to tell a difference.

That parts list that Dmoney posted is what you'll need. If you go speed density tune, then you don't physically have to have a MAF sensor.

I personally don't understand running a 4150 with a carb hat & maf... You're right back to having the air do a 90 turn into the intake, might as well just save money & keep your elbow.

Why not just run the 4150 TB and put a air filter on top?

That's what I would do & then just yank it off at the track. But you then would have to find a filter small enough to keep the wipers, gonna be hard with the super vic.

I seem somewhere where a guy pulled his hat off on the dyno & only made 4 more hp. Ya definitely good luck finding a filter to put on top of it lol

You may also want to consider a Wilson Manifolds TB spacer. With a 4" hood you will have room to run one and they are well worth the gains.
