Electric Fisker Karma Turned LS9-Swapped Destino Coming Next Year
Kiss that electric power train good bye. Instead of batteries and solar panels, VL Automotive's "Destino" will be powered by a gas swilling, tire-obliterating, environmentally unsafe, totally awesome, LS9. That's the plan anyway. If the ZR1's motor turns out to be too much of a hassle (read: too expensive), they'll likely settle for the new LT1.
The car will be very expensive. Lutz says that the car will cost in the ball park of $200,000. If you're one of the lucky few to already own a Fisker Karma, Lutz will take it to the dark side for an addition $100,000. The Destino will be a low-volume model, as VL only has 25 Karma's in their possession. Those willing to take the plunge will be able to get their cars sometime next year.

Mr. Lutz has been touting this setup for a couple of years. Nice to see that the left over bodies will be recycled to something useful.
There's a bunch of them that were flood damaged too. Not sure what happened to them...

Yeah, they were all ruined. 16 of them straight up caught fire and burned to the ground. Fisker has had some genuinely awful luck.
