ALuminum Heater tube hose DIY
Hey guys, my lower heater hose is actually kinking and rubbing against on one of the Compressor hoses(Rubber part so its getting soft and found a little freon) and I need some creativity to getting a aluminum tubing so I can make the bend around the belt. Im not spending $120 bucks on the heater hose set(I know im a cheap ***). Why spend the money when you can make your own? Haha I have a tube bender tool and some clamps now all I need is someone to confirm what size the tubes are and where to get them.
Crimper is not needed for heater hoses.

As I said earlier, I cant or else they will kink & rub on the upper radiator hose and compressor hose. They already have soft spots on them and thats not going to happen again. just need to know where and what size steel tubing to get. Thanks

You can buy Aluminum tubing and a bender, but I don't think you'll save any money. One problem will be buying a short length of tubing. You may be better off with soft copper available at most hardware stores.
