Never mind that, makes no difference. If yours is a '93, there is no other option. And that won't cause a knock sensor code even if it were a '94/'97. Properly tuned, the later models don't need one either. It's just a band aid. No knock sensor code from the rockers, just somewhat excessive knock retard.

So basically I still have a problem or is it the rockers? I'm confused. Easily I guess.

43 is a knock sensor circuit issue.

Yes I understand that but is it because of the roller rockers? Or Because something in that circuit is bad?

Yes, something is causing the codes. Rockers won't cause that code. Things like the wrong year model knock sensors when putting an OBD1 box in an OBD2 car. Cars with lower cylinder pressure because of big cam, lowered compression for blowers , higher octane than pump gas fuel, etc, anything that would make one less prone to detonate at start up @ idle will cause DTC 43 to set. Simplest thing is to do is shut DTC 43 off if any of those condition exist. Even octane booster can cause it. The PCM advances the timing at start up until detonation is detected. If it can't detect detonation soon enough DTC 43 sets. Then timing is retarded to protect the engine. Thus, if you are setting DTC 43, your car is slower than it should be.

Not sure you do understand. Rocker arms are not part of the circuit. It is an electrical malfunction. I gave you a link in an earlier post on how to begin testing. Have you done any of that?
