Default pcv

i have a carbed 5.3 and on the right valve cover I have a chromed breather and on the left valve cover I have a pcv running from it into the front of the carb I am just wondering if that is ok or should I have it set up differently thanks for any input

That is pretty standard. I prefer to run a "catch can" as it keeps the oil out of the intake tract.

I bought one on flea bay that looking a works good for like 40 bucks. I would say they are a must when running pcv. Over time it will build of that really hard to remove sticky oil residue.
