Default LS1 Mr. Gasket Head Gasket Install- QUICK HELP!

I have been searching all over before i install these to see if there was any info i need to know. I have a 98 LS1 block that i am putting ls6 243 heads on. I have the gasket #3143G for 97-10 chevy v8's. compressed thickness is .051

1. should i use any type of sealer with them? anaerobic?
2. do i need to drill out the rivets or are most people leaving them in?
3. any other advice for installing the gaskets, heads and torque info? I am using ARP head bolts kit 134-3609

Thanks all, i am trying to do this tonight if i get the info i need.

DO NOT DRILL!!

If I am right, these are MLS (multi layer steel) gaskets, and the rivets were put there to keep the layers in perfect alignment.

Follow manufacturers torque specs, and do not use any type of sealant or gasket maker goop stuffs.

These gaskets are designed to self seal around any water passages.

Put them on and torque to spec using torque chart for sequence... Which is usually center bolt going outward in clockwise order.

Using ARP bolts you can usually go higher for torque rating. Look at their website for torque info or the included instructions.

Big Ed is correct, don't drill the rivets. They will actually align in the corners off the mating surfaces anyway.

From Jegs website

Proprietary Coating - our coatings are applied after the formation process to ensure entire coverage of each of the outer layers and no break in the coating. These coatings offer resistance to oxidations from chemicals and do not require special surfacing techniques
