AWESOME Video for sure the editing was perfect from Myws6.
Very sorry to see the wreck Ninetres but I'm glad you're OK.

What's the new plans? That build was nasty.

Short story: car has always been difficult to dial the bump steer out of alignment based on the pa racing member and manual rack. We had too much front aero on the car and at speeds over 130mph it looks like the cars nose lowered damn near, or on the bump stops.....causing the alignment to change to too much tow in. That caused the car to wander at high speeds. It was wandering when I pulled the chute and it jerked the rear end causing the car to Lose control. I imagine the rear was rather light too since the front was so low.

Car will be back together shortly. Damage wasn't bad. Just needed a door, ttop, front bumper cover, windshield and small a pillar repair. And new sub frame connector.

good luck on a speedy recovery.

i have heard /seen some get into trouble jamming on brakes at same time as chute catches air, i was leaning toward that reason but still was no excuse for the veering violently unless the chute wasn't centered?

very scary as all these cars are getting so much faster and more powerful than gm and maybe some aftermarket companies engineered their parts for

I was wide open until the chute fully blossomed. You can hear it in the sideline video I posted in the other link. Same idea applies though.....rear end might have been light due to the nose being buried on the bump stops....causing the rear to be light. Chute is centered.
