Default How big of front tire can I go??

I have a 93 trans am I run 275/35/18 in the front cuz that's what I was told is the biggest I can fit without making some modifications. I'd like to go 295/35/18 get some more grip up front. What's the biggest front tire people have put on a 4th gen? Also what modifications were needed? Dunno if it's some plastic shaving or what. I also have Eibach springs so it sits lower. Thanks!

I have 285x35xZR18 mounted on Forgeline 18X9.5 (+46mm offset) all the way around the vehicle (2001 Z28-Sara) and have no rubbing issues whatsoever.

It depends on the offset of the wheel, more so than the size of the tire or the width of the rim.

295s on 18X10.5s is becoming more common now with no modification in the front. If you were to run 17s you could get away with 17x11s on 315/35s

Yea you could run up to 315's up front without a problem. Do you just want it for looks or Road course or AutoX because i think 285 -295 would be cool. I used to run 275 all around with hardly any trouble on the track.

295/35/18 need's a 10" wide wheel and a offset in the range of +44 to +50 .

I have 18x10 don't remember the offset. I have 295/35/18 on the rear I guess I could just put them on the front and try it out!

As long as the wheels have the proper offset, there are zero issues with fitting up to a 315 wide tire on the front of a 4th gen. The grip is incredible, but rougher roads can be a handful, the car will follow ruts more easily.

I can understand that. It's not a daily driver so I'm not worried about that "problem" lol thanks for the advise everyone
