bolt on C5Z vs 35R Evo8
2002 C5 Z06
ARH 1 3/4 longtubes
Catless Xpipe
Callaway Honker cold air intake
402rwhp 376rwtq
2005 Evo8
2.3 stroker
35r ball bearing turbo (not sure on specifics)
cams
full supporting mods, etc
26psi 93 octane pump gas
510whp 378wtq
We did a few pulls and the outcome was pretty much the same every time. This is the only good video I got on film because my passenger didn't know how to work the camera well. The EVO driver also has a video, I might be able to get it from him later.
IMO the driver of the EVO made two mistakes when he ran me. He did not brake boost and he did not no lift shift. You can see when he goes to shift into 4th in the video I really pull him pretty bad. We are planning on getting some better videos soon. 20mph, 40mph, and then 60mph rolls.
I think if he brake boosts and no lift shifts it will be much closer, with the edge probably going to him. The run in the video I started in 3rd gear at 55mph which is a dead spot for me anyways. I'll make sure i'm more in my powerband in the next races.
Enjoy.

oh and just going to mention before anyone says anything...
We both left on the third honk. He just lagged and I took off. I remember looking over on the third honk and I saw his front fender raise up and then heard the open dump shortly after.

I agree with you 100% it should have freight trained me. I'm interested to see how bad I lose when he shifts it right and brake boosts. We will see I guess.
