Default can we get an LT1 classifieds in the LT1 LT4 section?

It seems to be that the classifieds are FULL UP on LS1 parts. I've sold all my LS1 cars and bought an LT1 car. Well the point is I never realized how hard it was to find LT1 parts searching through pages and pages of LS1 parts. I propose we start a classifieds and wanted page in here like the regionals have please. What can we do about getting this started? Maybe if we had enough input from members we can have this done!

How about everyone just start listing their wanted and for sale threads in here until the mods get so tired of moving everything they create the section for us.

You catch more bees with honey than you do with vinegar.

Do a quick search and there's 2 of these threads already, one is a poll, bump them and vote yes on the poll, that's about all we can do.

I just tore down my LT1 and I am not re using any of it. The crank is not usable because I had to cut through it due to the harmonic balancer mount welding itself to the end of the crank, lol. But everything else is up for grabs and in great shape. Also don't discount American Camaro and Firebird here in Oklahoma, they do a ton of business online and have a great website. The owner is awesome, you can always call up and he can tell you if he has what you need and a great price. It's a treasure trove and I am just lucky I live 10 miles away from it!

wut....

I'm almost betting money you used the wrong puller for the crank hub and cut it for no reason...

I tried 3 different pullers, none worked and as it turns out this is a pretty common problem, and I didn't want to pay a machine shop to get it off.

must be a pretty common problem that I have never heard of...now the common ones are not pulling the bolt out or trying to push against the hub and not the crank.

^^^This.

The common problem is people not knowing how pull them...

A regular SBC puller won't work by itself. The hub is in front of the crank snout and you need to thread a 7/16"x20 rod in there to push off from.

Getting back on track with this thread.....

While I agree it would be nice to have a separate LT1/4 for sale section, I doubt if it'll increase how many LT1/4 parts are available for sale.

I would love a LT1 parts classifieds in our section. This would make our life a lot easier.

its not about increasing the number of parts for sale...its about being able to easily find/buy the part we are looking for

its not like this is a new idea...the LTx users have been asking for this for as long as I can remember
