Default Dedicated fuel cell with race gas questions

New to nitrous and will be throwing a kit on my c5 over winter. It's a shark nozzle kit with accessories from nitrous outlet. I am going to be picking up a dedicated fuel cell from nitrous outlet so I don't have to worry about fuel pressure dropping from the rail. Other then that and running race gas (which kind? VP109, C16, 110? ) to help with detonation what are the other benefits of using race gas? Do you have to pull the same amount of timing as you would with pump?

Car has AI 243 heads, 231/236 cam, and all supporting mods (trans, clutch, rear, headers, etc).

Thanks

C16

Are you plumbing this to the rail or nozzle?

and yes pull timing as usual and add or subtract as the plugs suggest.

I was hoping I can plum it right to the solenoid to take my stock fuel system out of the picture entirely.

Thats correct you will come out of the fuel cell straight to your fuel solenoid. Reading plugs is the best way to dial in the timing. How big of a shot are you looking to run?

if you can find E85 its a good deal cheaper than C16. I ran that in my Nitrous Outlet standalone and the car happily gulped down from 150-250 on the corn.
