Ok so the car is a 2002 Z28. I'm getting a 3600 torque converter this friday. I know I need a transcooler but I have no idea which one to get. I seen one in a thread that was $37 and comes with most of the hardware needed for installation. The cooler was Hayden OC-1404. I'm just wondering if thats the best bang for buck option or is there something else out there. Any help with this is greatly appreciated. I'm a little overwhelmed with all the transcooler options.

Second, what's the consensus on doing gears with stalls? I was gonna go with 3.73s but I was told on here that its a waste of time and money. That comment came from JimmyBlue and RPM WS6, who seem to know their stuff and are very respected on this site. But I see a ton of people on here go with 3.73s with their stalls. So I'm just tryna figure out if I should spend the money on gears or go with a Transgo kit. Also I don't wanna for the tune with 2.73s and then have to get another tune for 3.73s.

imo im going with the b&m 264 $70 several posters said it was popular & i liked size . im biased but i already have a aluminum trans pan . those mods should run plenty cool. gears im staying with 2:73's but i only drive on street. ls1 dos & donts says go for 3:73's. i would only go max 3:42's on street. but thats me! cheers
