99 SS Camaro 376 LS3 Topend Billet s480 275 Build
Figured I should finally start a build thread now that most of the fab work is done. But here's a run done of build plan.
Motor
Forged 376 LS3 block
Stock LS3 heads
Custom cam from tick performance
Holley hi ram intake
90mm edelbrock tb
Aei motor and trans plate
Meziere electric water pump
Griffin rad w/ flexalite fans
FIC 127 injectors
Trans
Built turbo 400
Custom Ptc convertor
Turbo kit
Forced induction billet s480 t6 1.32
Obx turbo headers (cut 3" vbands off and tapered them down to 2.5" vbands)
Two 40mm jgs wastegates
60mm jgs bov
Chiseled performance intercooler
All the fab work was done by me and a couple friends in my townhouse garage. I probly forgot a bunch but I took a ton of pics so it may take me a couple days to get them all up.

The plates are great they fit awesome and easy to install. Price I can't remember cause I also ordered the valley cover at the same time. If you send him an email he usually gets back to you rather soon. I am currently working with him to make a custom alternator bracket due to the obx headers

Thanks the engine is sitting in the factory location and right now the intake manifold only has an 1/8 inch gap to the windshield so im gunna run a lexan window and notch it a little.

Car looks good. What is your opinion on those headers? I was going to get them to do pretty much the same build. I have the AEI motor plate and mid plate aswell, chopping the frame where you did and have a 370 in it now but thinking of going to a 390 and x275 or something bigger than the s480 that I have now.

Got a little update. Ended up using an ls3 for the bottom end and stock ls3 heads.
Also got the engine bay all painted and ready for the motor to go in.
And had to get a new front window to clear the intake but figured while I was there might as well get the rear .
Hopefully next weekend I can get the motor and trans in the car.
