Drilling out wheels for bigger studs?
Is it doable? I bought a 12 bolt that has 5/8 wheels studs in it and i have a set of street lites with slicks on them that fit the studs on the 12 bolt, but i drive the car on the street a lot and i have a set of zr1's with street tires on them that i would like to still be able to use if its possible.

The aluminum spacers should fit in the zr1 lug nut hole..
Are you using the moser8080 5/8 wheel studs?

Take your time, use a good plug in drill. Battery ones won't survive. Take a little out at a time and keep check fitting, you want a tight fit with no slack.. Take the least amount of material out for your rims to fit.
Good luck

Update:
Drilled my wheels out with just a regular black oxide 11/16 bit on a half inch drive milwaukee plug in drill. Cut through them like butter and they fit perfect. Haven't driven it yet on them since my motor is out of my car but I don't see why I should have any problems.
