LS1 knock sensor height on LS2+ blocks
Gents,
I hope you can help me. I am having a new LSx motor built but am worried that if i relocate the LS1 knock sensors to the side of the new block then I may have issues clearing my headers.
Does anyone know the height of the sensor and plug after the threaded portion? I just need to know the height that will protrude outwards from the block.
I am sure that this will be useful information to other too. Thanks in advance.

An LS2 block?
There's all kinds of room between the bottom of the block and anything around it where the knock sensors install. I don't know how long\large an LS1 sensor is, but It should be a non-issue.

Thanks for posting HwyStarJoe
its an LS3 block and there are about 7 holes on each sides of the block for the knock sensors but 4 of them are taken up by the motor mount and the rest have headers that hug the block so All i need is a height measurement...
