Default flywheel

will a 97-04 ls1 5.7 flywheel work on a 2001 5.3.
doing a t5 conversion, have all the parts except flywheel.

A 1998 to 2002 F-Body LS1 flywheel will 100% work with the engine you have.

I think the T5 will require a different flywheel. Look for the thread on older transmissions on LS engines.

yeah you have to use a different clutch disk and Lakewood makes a pilot bearing adapter
