Default Converting from M6 to TH400 - 1 quick question

On the M6 the clutch has to be pushed in to start the car. With the converstion (now no clutch) what is the easiest/quickest way to by-pass the clutch cut-off? Can the cut-off be removed and wired together?

Thanks

David

You can just tie the two wires together. You can also run those two wires over to the nuetral safety switch on your aftermarket shifter, nothing will surprise you more then reaching through the window to start the car and the car is in reverse or drive

FWIW you will get a SES light eventually from it, the PCM expects to see some clutch activity. Easily removed with edit though.

Thanks. I doubt I will be removing the clutch pedal - so to lay the clutch on the floor seems to be the easiest. Thanks

if you push clutch to floor with out disengaging the switch like said above it will start with shifter in any position,[not legal or safe] disconect the clutch switch by pedal and tap in and run wires to neutral safety switch on shifter, the wires are small so you really dont need heavy wire the wire from factory is like 18 gauge, but just look at switch,i didnt cut the end off just in case switch on shifter take a sh*t,that way i can always plug back in and use factory switch in an emergency
