clutch line release

clutch line release need help on how to remove the clutch fluid line going into the transmisssion. also can you take the trans out first then release it? much appreciated. nick

Where it hooks at, you should see the white or yellowish plastic washer piece.It's actually split. Push that in either with 2 screwdrivers or your fingers and pull out as you push that piece in.
On Youtube, a guy has a video leaving it hooked as he pulled the tranny out but you have to be careful. I unhooked mine first.
