Question Anybody running a SPEC stage 1 clutch

So I will soon be replacing my clutch hydraulics with a tick master and oe slave and since I am going to be down there might as well replace clutch. I am looking at the spec clutch and seems good for the price. Just wondering if anyone is running it and there review on it. My car is a daily it's just got headers and intake, I take it to the drag strip once or twice a month. My future mods are cam only maybe 400rwhp.

Our Level 1 clutch works fine with the factory master and comes with a new billet steel flywheel which you can opt for the lightweight option if you want to free up a little more power to the rear wheels. Feel free to contact me with any questions, Chris 817-750-2000

Go stage 2+, or monster stage 2, or diamond stage 2, all are like stock pedal and if you ever get sticky tires you can safetly hit them hard, always better to over than under clutch in my experience, I only make 435whp but run a spec 3+ because it's good insurance when dropping the hammer at 6000+, you may not launch hard now but if you ever want to try you've shorted yourself, just my opinion for what it's worth

A Stage 1 is a great option for a street car within the clutches rated capacity. it will be very street friendly and easily able to handle some aggressive usage too. Let me know if you have other questions and I will be happy to help you out. Thanks,

I went with the spec stage 2+ and light pressure plate option and beat the snot out of my car. No complaints at all. When I had the stock master, pedal feel was nearly like stock. I've put in a Wilwood master since (car getting more and more track focused), but have no intention of monkeying with what I think is a nearly pefect clutch set up.

Thanks 1981TA...I am a big fan of the 2+ myself. I have used it in numerous personal cars that see both street and track time. It's smooth, easy to live with daily, and very capable of handling aggressive use too. It is my personal favorite among our single-disc clutch options.
