Not LSX related but still cool to me
Sold my crv and picked this up out of killeen. Its a 79' 4x4 short wheel base 4speed. Front and rear have been re-geard to a 4.10, also has new weber carb and new starter. either going to get a 22r swap and 5speed, or a 2kt(i believe thats the engine code) diesel swap.
As for the body, its fairly rust free, surface rust in most spots, but nothing major rusted through, interior its pretty clean as well.
Since my dash is all jacked up, and im gonna have to do a TON of re-wiring anyways im gonna go ahead and order this and do my own gauges, or keep my stock gauges idk yet.
Im wanting to go diesel.....But i want a fairly stout/powerful motor....any suggestions ? I want a 4cyl turbo diesel, or even a 5cyl. I could prolly get a mercedes diesel fairly cheap(om617) seems a bunch of people have run those. If money wasnt an object id get a 1KD-FTV(170hp &260tq) BUT No 4bt, its to big and to bulky and to heavy unfortunately :/
