Stock block 383 350 shot
I got a stock 5.7 block bored 3.905
215s from TEA (243s)
Port matched super Vic with spraybar setup
Fast 4150
Custom ground camshaft
Callie's magnum XL 4.00 crankshaft
Callie's compstars
Wiseco pistons
Tool steel pins so on and so forth
Car weighs 3100 with me in it (2000 camaro)
Th350 with brake
12 bolt with 373s
28s
Any suggestions....?
Ideas what it's gonna do...?
Things I need to watch and look for...?
Something that I'm over looking...?
How hard can I spray it..? Any input on me spraying it 400-500?
I enjoy all types of criticism and input thanks.

What's it gonna do? Is that what your asking?
Ok.... I'll guess. Spin? Blow head gasket? Burn a hole in a piston?
Maybe run you personal best?? Flip over?
What do you want people to say here?

Brandon yes I do. I'm gonna feed one of your pucks with a dedicated system with a 255 that I plan on setting up in my hatch area. I have a 465 in tank and I'm gonna pull a small kit off it into one of your new 4150 plates. Is what I have planned.. What I'm asking is the motor capable of handling these types of things.
Would you think the th350 is gonna break. Will the car need progressive controller what size tire do you suggest. If it all works out what's something like that capable of doing.. Just some sort of input not bullshit

What are the cam specs?
Stock casting heads are not great for that much nitrous.
I'd bet the th350 will break first pass. It needs a 400 or better yet a glide.
Have you ever used nitrous and do you know how to read plugs?
Thats a start

I'm hoping it makes close to 500 on the motor it's supposed to be somewhere around 12.1 compression... I want it to make mid to upper 800 range. On a perfect day the car should break in the 8s.
FYI I have not had a cam cut for it.. I'm waiting to get everything all in order to havey converter and cam made pretty much at the same time.

And yes know a couple things about nitrous I sprayed my factory 180k mile stock block stock head stock intake 5.7 335 on 2 kits with a 255 pulling them both from the fuel rail. And never made a single pass with that setup

Well I have a 13:1 383 ci 5.7 block with afr's and the cam was made to be decent at both motor and spray. So I'm giving up a little on both. My cam is a 248/258 on a 112+2.
My motor builder said with the pistons I have he would not recomend going past 200-250 shot. Now that is with Diamond pistons that are light duty nitrous app.
But on a 200 shot coming out very soft I ran a 8.97@150 at 2725lbs.
I would run a set of the new 275 radial pro's from MT. But your car needs to be setup well for them to work. Or just get a set of 28x10.5 slicks.
My car has cut a 1.25 60' on the radial pro's.

Without seeing the build sheet on the motor I don't know what it will take nitrous wise. I'm sure 200 would be fine. We had a customer go 8's on a stock bottom end 5.7 with stock 853 casting heads if that tells you anything. Your tune will be very important at those horsepower levels. Are you familiar with reading plugs?

You can do a good bit to lighten the car up. My car weighed 3425 w/o driver with slicks and skinnies. It still has all the creature comforts, 12 bolt, and a th350. Stereo and sub in the rear with 1/2 tank of gas and nitrous bottle. Stock k member too. Its a 2001 SS.
My buddy's 99 SS is somewhere around 3100 and he still has alot left to do. he got rid of the exhaust and put a 3 inch bullet on the y pipe. Removed the A/C. Back seat delete, k member and arms, rear speakers removed, lightweight carpet, and a bunch of things I can't remember.
