choosing X over tubing dia size?
What is the ideal size to run? 2.5" 2.25" 2"?
I have a stock bottom end Ls1 and had 2.5" X over piping fabbed for my 88mm precision turbo. Im planning on getting a GT4788 on a .96 t4 hotside and im thinking 2.25 might be a little better to help for quicker spool. I know the turbo is currently over kill for the engine, BUT i would rather build my turbo setup once, and not have to change it after i build the engine. Any thoughts/comments are appreciated. Il include a pic of my setup. my X-over piping is fairly long, my thinking was that i could get a little more velocity to help spool time. Also, i wanted the turbo fairly isolated from direct heat sources. I moved my radiator over about 4 inches towards the driverside. I will be cutting a hole in the front bumper and duct it straight into the turbo. It should be a very efficient setup. I managed to fit 4" down pipe as well.
Any thoughts/comments are appreciated.

I have the stainless works headers that go into 3 inch crossover and it works fine for me. It's a t4 with a 3" dp as well. Made 735whp and 920wtq on 15psi and the car spools ridiculously but i'd suspect that is a combination of other factors like cam, cr, ci, and turbo.
