Default Budget Front Coilover Conversion for GTO

Category: Steering & Suspension
Price: $275
Part Fits: 04-06 Pontiac GTO
Location (State): TN
Item Condition: Used
LS Engine?: Fits LS Engine

I used guidance from this thread to build the setup below, which includes the following:

Monroe Sensa-trac Strut (2 x $48)
Strange Coilover Kit (2 x $70)
QA1 250#/in Springs (2 x $38)

This would cost $312 to duplicate, and I will sell for $275 shipped. There is a tab that I had to TIG weld to the strut mount flange in order to keep the Strange threaded tube from rotating on the strut body. Not sure how imporant the addition of the tab is, but I didn't want to take any chances.

This setup only has a total of (3) 1/4mi passes, travel back to the pits, and loading/unloading on the trailer. It helped TREMENDOUSLY at the track to keep the nose from diving between shifts, but I am just going a different direction with my car and no longer need these.

Is there anything else needed to get these to bolt on? Interested in trading for some nitrous parts?

Just stack your current strut top bushings on and the current strut top retainer... that's it.

Nah, I don't have any need for nitrous stuff. Thanks though.
