G&G is North Houston is good and won't rape you. Give Joe a call. They have built plenty of nasty motors

Did u read the part where the OP does NOT want to spend an arm and a leg?

LME has built some nice motors no doubt but I've dealt with them and they ain't cheap. I'll just leave it at that. And as far as the "you get what you pay for" comment that I know is coming, LME has their skeletons as well. As do 99% of shops and engine builders.

OP, LME will build you a great motor but just call G&G, H Squared,LME etc and have them send you quotes. Any of those shops will build a motor that will hold.

Agreed. Customer service is important and although I did receive good customer service from them the price was so much different that I couldn't justify the difference considering G&G built one of the fastest street cars in the country.

Any of the shops I named above are quality shops and would handle anything the OP needed with ease.

LME only builds engines, they do not R&R motors.

H Squared Racing engines only machines/assembles engines. They don't do the R&R either..

I have also used G&G and pretty happy with what I had them build, but they are definitely not cheap, nor is H Squared for that matter... But you get what you pay for applies here.
