Default Tree fell on my TA

So last night in a storm a tree fell on top of my ram 1500 AND TA. What luck...

An insurance agent is coming out to look at the damage tomorrow to give me an estimate. The tree hit the rear spoiler, rear drivers side quarter panel, and scratched some of the drivers side door.

Anyone know what i should get for an estimate on the repair costs? I know that the rear quarter panels on the 02 TA's are welded on... not a cheap fix.

let me know what you think. Attached pics.
Thx

good eyes. Flat tire unrelated to tree falling. Ran over a screw a couple days ago.... Just add it to the list of things.

wow, just think if the tree shifted a few feet to the right when it fell. Probably would have taken out the taillights shattered the rear window, maybe brought the roof down along with it. Good thing you weren't in the car when that happened, that would have been an experience you NEVER would have forgotten.

I had the same spot backed into (it was not quite as nasty as yours, but pretty close), and the estimate was about $2100 IIRC. They didn't replace the panel, just repaired it, but it looked good as new after. So add that to any damage on the spoiler/etc, I'd guess between $2000-$2400 depending on a number of factors.

Yep, its def going to be a loss. I have had two cars with fender replacements, both being in the 4-5k range. ( back bumper too )

The value on fbodys is so low these days (miles and condition dependent) that they think its just not worth it. Sucks to hear but just means time to upgrade haha!

If I were you though id let them total it and then buy back/part it out and make double the $$ if you have a little time. Motor/trans/harness/comp go for 3500+ easily these days ( again mile dependent )

At least thats what I would do.
